Nothing and No One to Blame but Moi

Plateau!  Plateau!  Plateau!  Plateau!  I'm hanging out at 203!  I am stuck.  Grrrr.  Obviously I need to eat less or move more.  How distressing.  I am so sad.  203...  I've lost 14 lbs since I stared this blog, but I wanna lose more.  My grand total from my high point in 67 lbs, which should be encouraging!  It is encouraging.  I can do another measly 33 lbs!

So:
More Water
More Cardio

Really, that should be all I need.  Especially since I stopped exercising in the house.  I thought I would get enough working outside and I did for, like, a week.  So, yeah.  If I don't go outside I need to do jumping jacks (or whatever).  That's not that difficult -- on paper.  Or on blog, as the case may be.  Under 200, here I come.  Goal: 199 by May 15th.

Just a Quick Update on My Success!

Weight: 205 (5'6)
BMI 32.1 (30 is obese)
Waist - 37"
Hips - 45"
Thigh - 15"
Upper Arm - 28"


Change of plans, ladies.  I'm gonna be a hiefer through this summer.  I just like food too much.  The end goal is still 170, but by dropping it from trying to lose 2 lbs/week to 1 per week, my calorie range is now 1430 - 1780, instead of 1200 - 1500.  I kind of let myself go last week (I still tracked everything in my food journal) and I naturally ate about around 1700 calories (me!! less than 2k!).  I was so fretting about days I went over my "budget" that I'd punish myself with near-starvation the following day.  That's, obviously, unhealthy...

I've started weighing my food.  I bought a food scale and I thought it was going to make me more stressed, but it's actually kind of freeing.  I like the sort of safety net that measuring gives me.  I think it's cause down on some level, I'm kinda anal.  I get it from my daddy.  Ah, but here's to losing 12 lbs!

My First (Somewhat Humiliating) Entry

So, here's the current vitals:

Weight: 217 (5'6)
BMI 34.5 (30 is obese)
Waist - 39"
Hips - 47"
Thigh - 16"
Upper Arm - 28.5"
These are the measurements I got from sparkpeople.com.  It's pretty traumatic to know my ARM is thicker than many linebackers'...

I showed the following video to my husband before I posted it and I really thought he'd laugh.  I laughed the whole time I kept watching it.  I feel like a fool.  Instead, he gave me a bear hug and said he really thinks I can do it.  So positive.

Just a side note here, videos take forever to upload. Forever.  I don't follow any blogs/vids etc, and if it wasn't for the soup or tosh.o  I'd have no idea that "double rainbows" even existed.  Basically, I am not an internet savvy individual.  At all.
